Hello! That’s so awesome that you’re taking up skating, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
As I always recommend, I suggest you write up a list or program of stretches that you do regularly (between 4 and 7 days per week).

I also suggest you start practicing your spirals by lifting and holding your leg. You can also try doing some squats, lunges and ab work to help your strength.
