Well I recommend you do lots of splits and then over splits when you’re splits are solid. Also try leaning back in your splits, and leaning back then grabbing your back leg if you can. I have posted about splits stretches here and you can also check out my splits Q&A page here.
You can also try stretching in a door frame or up a wall. Push your leg up and then reach back like in a scorpion.
